VRay for SketchUP 8 14901 14901 X86 This latest version of VRay for SketchUp is updated to include the latest releases in the current RenderMan Interface Specification, has new features, and offers improved performance. With VRay for SketchUp 8 14901 14901 X86 you'll get better quality renders with less time on your computer. Vray For Sketchup fixes various errors in previous versions of the product, including one that caused some models to be displayed with a lower level of detail in VRayMtl windows behind them. This update also fixes issues in which VRay Learn wouldn't run properly when launched from Learn mode in VRayMtl windows. You can find the following changes in this update: Fixes a number of small problems with the 3ds Max exporter. Adds preferences to turn off switching between file tabs when opening a new file, and to stop AutoCAD importers from choosing default materials when importing files. Further improves performance on some scenes containing many hidden geometry instances. Fixes some issues with loading reference images from Google Earth KML files. For more information about using Google Earth with VRay, see the FAQ at http://knowledgebase.scriptlabs. com/support/v10/ Fixes some issues with VRayMtl windows being displayed behind others. Allows using formula materials without specifying parameters for some of their components. Material parameters are now specified only when the formula is missing some of its components, or when the material instance has different parameters than the original material. Adds support for adding and removing "soft" materials (materials with transparency) to the display list. This allows displacing transparent materials by adjustable amounts without getting artifacts in shaded views (that is, by adding or removing them from the render's Z-buffer). Materials are displaced only if their opacity parameter is set to something greater than 0. Improved integration with Google Earth, especially for proper scene loading and using the right zoom level (place scene below ground level). Expands support for background images (backgrounds can be chosen through the Image dialog or directly in the viewport). Also supports displaying background images with additional layers above them. Improved performance when displaying large background images. Background image transparency is now taken into consideration when performing ray-object intersections, so objects behind it are now visible. New documentation for getting an activation code and setting it up. Minor improvements in rendering quality. Also improves handling of transparent materials that are intersecting with geometry surfaces that have an UVW coordinate set to 0.0.
